Hurry up and wait
Well, after flying my Mom out here and making all of the arrangements for Allan to have this surgery, we fly out to Seattle get to the hospital at 0630 on the day of surgery, get him stripped down into his hospital gown and into the OR gurney only to have them CANCEL HIS SURGERY! Seems he had a bit of rattling in his right lung, a left over from the bronchitis he had a few weeks ago, and the anesthesiologist refused to put him under until his lungs are clear. A wonderful precaution as not to risk a lung collapsing during surgery and him having to be on a venilator until well again...however the pisser is..the fucking flight surgeon here in Kodiak cleared him for surgery. Said his bronchitis was gone and he was good to go. Well thanks to that misdiagnosis I am out 800 dollars for my Mom's ticket and now we have to go thru it all over again May 10th. That's right boys and girls, the schwannoma removal has been rescheduled for May 10th. I have no idea if I will be able to go, a thought that just makes me sick to my stomach. But what can I do? Who do I get to watch the boys?
OMG....stress....it's no wonder I've recently started taking Xanax for anxiety.

Dupe' News
Allan is having surgery in Seattle on March 22nd for Schwannoma. Basically what that is is a tumor that is growing on an auditory nerve on his left side under his brain. The surgeon will remove a section of his skull and go under his brain to remove the growth. It is causing him to loose his hearing on the left side and he has ringing on that side that is driving him insane! The surgery of course is not without risk, but is pretty common and the surgeon as of right now does not anticipate any problems. He will have a partial facial paralysis for a short time after the surgery and will be in the hospital for 5 days while he recovers. He and I will be in Seattle for 10 days. Mom is coming to stay with the boys in Kodiak so I don't have to take them out of school. I think that's best as I don't want them seeing their Dad with tubes and wires protruding from his head and face. But, I'm more concerned with what her influence will do to them for 10 days then I am with Allan's surgery. Don't get me wrong, I'm worried of course, but he'll be fine. And as Alex said...Now he'll be a true metal head since he'll have a metal plate for the rest of his life. LOL
I'll keep you posted.

me in the late 70's
Jeff's cousin used to play in the same league, but he played with the older kids. He was, I guess, about 3 or 4 years older than me.
Jeffro, I see that Cinderella and Poison are going on tour this summer. We should go see that. It is a retro tour too, as Cinderella is only playing 'Night Songs' and Poison is oly playing "Look what the Cat dragged In.'
Where has Star's sorry ass been?Speaking of Star's beautifully shaped juicy ass, why isn't there a picture of that ass in here anywhere? I'll see if I can find one.
